Welcome to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in
Bound Brook,
we are a diverse and happy bunch of
Episcopalians from around the corner and around the world. Some
of us come from as faraway as Nigeria, India, Jamaica and even a
few come from Brooklyn. But most of us are from
Middlesex, Somerset
and Hunterdon counties.
We are a
congregation committed to reaching out to others in this bruised and battered world in the spirit of Jesus Christ. As Christ
touched others and allowed others to touch him so we are called forth
beyond our church doors. We reach out not as a duty but in the
spirit of joy and thankfulness for all that we have been given.
We have been greatly blessed and strive to be a blessing
to others.
Recently, four of us from St. Paul's traveled to El
Salvador to establish a sister church relationship with St. Andrew's Episcopal
Church and School in San Salvador. What a gift it was to meet with Father David
and the wonderful children and parishioners of St. Andrew's. We look forward to
many years of visits and mutual ministry.
At the parish level, we have a weekly program of feeding
others called Lunch On Us that has been part of our congregational life for over
fifteen years. Our worship on Sundays is at 8AM in the Rite One traditional
style from the Book of Common Prayer. The 10AM service is in the Rite Two
style. We are a welcoming and inclusive community. Come and See !
